Covid Summer of 2020. Pre-vaccination. Indoor gatherings restricted. International travel restricted. What to do? How about a mostly outdoor vacation? We visited northern California for two weeks. We rented a car and drove around. We saw San Francisco's outdoor attractions, drove down the Pacific Coast Highway almost to Big Sur, stopped only by raging wildfires. We enjoyed beaches and ocean scenery. And then we saw the tremendous national parks: Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite. We finished the trip at Lake Tahoe.
