Francisco was finishing his summer program at Stanford Medical following his first year at Howard. He had a couple of weeks and was looking to do some hiking. A plan came together for me to fly out and meet him in San Francisco, rent a car, and drive to Seattle. There's a lot of good stuff to see on the way and great hiking. Uncle Bill decided to join us at the last moment.
